Infrastructure

The School occupies a campus of approximately 3.5 acres (14,316 square meters) and features a substantial building with a total built-up area of 2,125 square meters. This well-designed structure includes airy and wide corridors and staircases across the building. The facility boasts 34 spacious classrooms, two high-quality Computer Labs, and two acoustically optimized Audio-Visual rooms. Additionally, there is a large and well-stocked Library, a General Science Lab, two Math Labs, a Physics Lab, a Chemistry Lab, an Art room, a Music room, a Sports room, three Teacher’s Resource Centres, a Conference Hall and an Administrative block with a spacious Reception area.

Classrooms

The classrooms are designed to be spacious, airy, and well-lit, opening up to broad and safe corridors. Each classroom is equipped with a large blackboard/greenboard and two soft boards, which are regularly maintained by both teachers and students to display various types of information and creative works. The seating arrangements are frequently changed to bring freshness and energy into the learning environment. The average size of a classroom is 24' x 22'.

ICT Integration

The rapid growth of the internet and the affordability of integrated technologies have sparked a transformative learning methodology in education, with Information and Communication Technology (ICT) playing a pivotal role in various aspects of human development. The School features two state-of-the-art computer labs, each housing 40 computers with advanced hardware and software tailored to meet individual student needs. Additionally, the School has established a comprehensive policy for the integration of ICT into the traditional teaching and learning process. These computer labs, alongside multimedia classrooms, are outfitted with the latest audio-visual aids and reliable internet connectivity, enhancing the learning experience further. Every year, Computer Science Faculties conduct beginners’ Robotics Bootcamp from Class VI onwards. The advanced level of this programme is conducted by experienced professional engineers.

E Learning

The School has partnered with ‘ExtraMarks’ - an innovative e-learning solution that fosters a more productive interaction between teachers and students. The incorporation of this programme in multimedia classrooms enhances the vibrancy of the teaching and learning processes. The diverse range of educational content across subjects not only exposes students to new concepts but also promotes their proactive engagement in learning activities. Our educators effectively utilize this platform to enhance learning and actively involve students in this digital initiative. Furthermore, the school has made significant strides by converting Classes I and II into Smart Classes, equipping them with smart boards that provide access to comprehensive educational content.

ASIS School App

The School has launched an app aimed at improving parental access to essential information about their wards’ education. The ASIS School App allows parents to monitor attendance, receive updates on class activities and homework, access educational resources shared by teachers, and get instant notifications about exam results. We believe that the app will serve as a valuable tool to enhance parental involvement and strengthen our school community.

Library

The School's library is spacious and well-furnished, housing a vast collection of books that serve both students and teachers. It subscribes to various periodicals, magazines and newspapers, and provides teachers with reference materials to enhance their classroom activities. Students are encouraged to read widely and any damage or loss of books needs to be compensated by the concerned student. Parents are invited to contribute books to the library. The School also hosts events such as book exhibitions and competitions, including Book Jacket Designing, Book Mark Making and Reading Theatre. Each year, outstanding readers from every class are recognized and rewarded.

Art Room

The Art Room is located in the eastern wing of the school's ground floor. This space is well-equipped with a variety of materials essential for art, craft and drawing activities. It features four large tables that provide students with ample space to engage in their art projects. The room houses a collection of art books showcasing the works of renowned artists and painters, serving as valuable references for students. Additionally, there is internet access, allowing students to further explore different art forms and design techniques. Throughout the room, students' artwork is prominently displayed on soft boards and shelves, creating an inspiring environment. The school also organizes art exhibitions periodically to showcase the creativity and accomplishments of its students.

Music Block

The Music Room, located at the eastern end of the first floor of the school building, is designed to foster a comprehensive learning environment for music. The School has a separate music block named ‘Sur Niketan’ designed to encourage students to learn music in its various facets. It includes a fully equipped ‘Sound Recording and Music Production Studio’. Within this block, there are three distinct workstations catering to various music disciplines like choir/vocal, keyboard instruments, rhythm instruments, percussion and string instruments. All the rooms are soundproof and acoustically treated, ensuring optimal sound quality. They are equipped with thermal insulation for fire resistance. The Music Block is strategically beneficial as it connects to the auditorium, facilitating the hosting of musical events.

Laboratories

Different laboratories for various subjects are equipped with appropriate apparatus and audio-visual materials tailored to student needs promoting demonstrative learning and hands-on experiences that increase interest in science. The labs are equipped with a collection of books and study materials accessible to both students and teachers for reference. Physics, Chemistry and Biology Labs meet the requirements of Senior Secondary Level students as outlined by the CBSE Curriculum and are fully equipped with modern apparatus and necessary chemicals for optimal learning. Additionally, Mathematics Lab features furniture in geometric shapes and comprehensive materials that provide students with practical experiences of various mathematical concepts.

Sports and Adventure

The School is equipped with comprehensive infrastructure for both indoor games and outdoor sports, featuring a total play field area of 7000 square meters. Its basketball court meets international standards and serves as a venue for various competitions at the school level. The curriculum includes coaching in a diverse array of sports such as cricket, football, basketball, badminton, kho-kho, kabaddi, skating and athletics. Indoor activities are equally celebrated, with facilities for table tennis, chess, karate and carrom. The indoor sports room is located on the ground floor of the eastern wing of the school building. Regular competitions are organized, fostering a competitive spirit at both individual and inter-house levels. Additionally, yoga is incorporated into the school curriculum, emphasizing the importance of physical wellness and flexibility.
The School has established a dedicated Adventure Park for students, utilizing recycled materials in its infrastructure and equipment to promote recycling awareness.

Auditorium

The School features a remarkable auditorium that is fully air-conditioned, acoustically optimized and well-illuminated, accommodating approximately 400 individuals. It is equipped with a state-of-the-art sound system along with comprehensive audio-visual facilities. An automated elevator facilitates easy access for guests and the auditorium includes an adjoining pantry. In addition to its primary function, the auditorium serves as a multipurpose hall suited for indoor sports and various other activities.
